Low Light Course
The course covers the application of a handheld and weapons mounted light in conjunction with a pistol. As well as utilizing the light with weapons manipulation and pistol marksmanship. Light retention devices will also be addressed making it possible to maintain positive control of the light when loading, unloading and clearing malfunctions with emphasis on correctly using the light for illumination and not as an aiming device. Students will be facing multiple scenarios with realistic targets in fully lit, half lit and in completely dark environments.
Course will be held indoors at the Red River East facility.

ACOG
The focus of the class is to utilize the ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gun sight) to it's full potential. Students will learn proper zeroing, expedient range estimation, and using reticule to adjust for windage.
Concentration on marksmanship as opposed to volume to fire and taking what is normally considered a CQB rifle out to medium range.
This includes CQB ranges to extended ranges of 600 yds and the use of the reticule for expedient range estimation. Target packages will be mostly steel.
This course is held outdoors at Red River West.
